ALIENS are trying to contact us by leaving messages and symbols on the Sun, a prominent UFO researcher has bizarrely claimed.
The concentrated effort to find evidence of alien life has so far failed to prove we are not alone in the universe. But scores of conspiracy theorists believe aliens are real and exist alongside humans in the solar system. According to self-titled UFO expert Scott C Waring, these aliens may even be trying to contact humanity.

Mr Waring, who has previously claimed alien UFOs were seen near the Sun, has now proposed a bizarre new theory.
The UFO hunter claims to have found photographic evidence of what he believes is a message of love and harmony to all.
He shared official NASA photos of the Sun, which appear to show an artificial symbol on the star’s surface.
The solar anomaly eerily resembles the number two and was snapped by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) spacecraft.

In Mr Waring’s opinion, the discovery is definitive proof we are not alone.
He said: “Strangely enough I was looking at some SOHO NASA images of our sun today and found this one.
“It has a giant number two on it in old time Roman Numeral font.
“At first I almost ignored it, because its impossible, and yet… even my own eyes had trouble believing it.
“I soon remembered that the number two has ancient meanings.
“It’s clearly a sign… one that has important meaning behind it.”
Mr Waring believes the number two is associated with harmony, balance, consideration and love.
By placing it on the surface of the Sun, he thinks aliens are telling us to have more faith “in your angels”.
Mr Waring said: “You should believe in energies that exist in the Universe, which will help you understand better many things in your life.
“That makes sense… aliens are trying to send a message of harmony, balance, consideration and love to all in our solar system.

“Such alien would be considered having angel-like powers, thus making the division between alien and angel… indistinguishable.”
And although the claims are incredible, they are also extremely unlikely to be backed by science.
Instead, it is more probable the “number two” is a twisting flow of gas along the Sun’s surface.
According to the US space agency NASA, the Sun’s has no solid surface but rather gases constantly moving in a rolling motion known as convection.
NASA said: “These convection cells can be seen as solar granules that are several thousand miles across, and change shape within a few minutes.
“You can see the same kind of motion by looking at the water in a boiling pot of water.”
But why would Mr Waring think it is a message from extraterrestrials? The answer lies in pareidolia.
NASA said: “Pareidolia is the psychological phenomenon where people see recognizable shapes in clouds, rock formations, or otherwise unrelated objects or data.
“There are many examples of this phenomenon on Earth and in space.”
