Objects like wooden spoons, cutting boards and insulated mugs or water bottles ought to be kept out due to possible damage, but a TikTok user has displayed some curious items that can be sanitised.
The cleaning and household expert, posting under the username @anna_louisa_at_home, uploaded a brief clip showcasing seven things suitable for the machine. These included cleaning cloths, plastic children’s toys, silicone phone protectors, flower holders, and even range hood filters.

Yet, the seventh item Anna placed in the dishwasher was a hairbrush, which left other TikTok viewers perplexed.
One individual commented: “Such a clever idea. I’m eager for my spouse to uncover oddities in the dishwasher.” Anna responded: “hahaha that will be the funniest reaction.”
