They’ve called the 1920s-era house the “worst looking on the street” and have been toiling for several months to renovate the property bit by bit.

The semi-detached property was bequeathed in a lamentable condition by its prior occupant, complete with a multitude of possessions and furnishings.

Despite settling into their dwelling earlier this year, it wasn’t until recently that the pair chose to venture into the loft space and inspect the bags and boxes left behind by prior occupants.

The first few boxes they brought down from the loft held books, antique jewellery boxes filled with necklaces and earrings, crafted wooden items and a scented incense holder.

Some of the items were encased in newspaper from 1997, while other possessions suggest they could have been there since 1993.

Moreover, in the attic was a classic mustard-coloured suitcase containing a bridal gown and vintage infant garments, along with a stamp collection from 1997.

There was also a Moses basket encased in a rubbish bag accompanied by a sizable wasp, exceeding half the size of Ebonie.

Following the posting of the videos on TikTok, one user noted: “This feels too intimate. Please contact them to see if they would like these back.”

Ebonie responded: “I intend to share this as a story. A completely full loft was left behind as well as numerous other things in the house. She did return to collect them but seemingly didn’t realise she had quite so much, so we placed it outside for her to retrieve, but she never returned.

“Refuse collectors disposed of half her belongings three days later…I have no idea where she resides but it’s less than 15 minutes walking distance away. I don’t possess any contact information for her…and she has not attempted to come back for anything.”

In a separate remark she stated: “She’s aware they are here…we’ve been here five months, and she still hasn’t returned.”

Other users were quick to notify Ebonie that some of the items they’d uncovered could be valued at significantly more than she realised.

One viewer said: “Old baby clothes can be quite valuable.”

A different user added: “Old fashioned baby clothes can be worth a substantial sum, just FYI.”
