A Ring Doorbell camera caught the comical moment a young child delivered a sassy response to her father. The episode, which was recorded by the Lacy family’s doorbell camera in Hampshire, happened as mother Jessica returned to her home with her three-year-old daughter.
After taking her daughter from the car seat at the back of their white vehicle, Jessica walked towards the front entryway. Her husband decided to utilise the speaker function to send a warning before they went into the house.

The father cautioned: “You better rouse her before she [doesn’t] sleep all night.”
As he spoke through the Ring Doorbell, Jessica tried to mute the device by covering it with her palm. However, this proved unsuccessful as their young child answered with a quick comeback.
“Daddy, shut up!” the little girl declared, perched on her mother’s shoulder. Jessica struggled to contain her laughter following her daughter’s words.

Choosing to disseminate the funny occurrence with the world, Jessica posted the video on TikTok via her account @jlacy24, titling it: “Just let the poor baby sleep.”

The short video rapidly gained attention, amassing almost half a million views in under 24 hours.
Jessica disclosed that her 12-year-old daughter, Leila, who publishes content under the TikTok handle @lei0770177777, was “annoyed she hasn’t gone viral on TikTok and her boring old mum has”.
The mother included: “She [her toddler] is this humorous all the time. She loves power rangers and pony’s and she’s crazy all the time.”
