As 2025 nears its end, worry begins to spread since one of the “most famous” forecasts concerning humankind’s destruction may become a reality.

Nostradamus, a French astrologer and alleged ‘prophet’, according to Britannica, alluded to the beginning of combat in England, a meteor impacting Earth and a marine leader rising to power.

Nonetheless, the individual whom the History Channel named the “Most famous seer,” envisioned cataclysmic occurrences arriving in 2025’s last quarter. However, he also anticipates the “end of a long war”, which many consider might allude to the continuing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

“Through long war all the army exhausted, so that they do not find money for the soldiers; instead of gold or silver, they will come to coin leather, Gallic brass, and the crescent sign of the Moon,” Nostradamus pens, reports The Mirror.

However, don’t be overly happy as he claims the conclusion of one dispute will occur at the same time as another commencing on British land – together with a new pandemic.

Nostradamus writes: “When those from the lands of Europe, see England set up her throne behind. Her flanks, there will be cruel wars.

“The kingdom will be defined by conflicts so brutal, adversaries from within and without will emerge. A great plague from the past resurfaces, no foe more lethal under the heavens.”

Apart from the impending war, there are additional justifications for why you may want to delay making New Year’s arrangements. According to Nostradamus, an asteroid is destined to hit Earth and annihilate life as we perceive it.

“From the cosmos, a fireball will rise, A harbinger of fate, the world pleads. Science and fate in a cosmic dance, The fate of the Earth, a second chance,” he authored, as stated by Penn Live.

On the political side, the celebrated astrologer predicted that “great powers will clash”, creating concerns of a possible nuclear confrontation. He also prophesied a “a decrease in the influence of established Western countries and the emergence of new world powers.”

However, Psychic Expert Joanne Jones of Trusted Psychics advises care when interpreting Nostradamus’ threatening forecasts.

She stated: “Over the past week, we’ve observed a spike in public nervousness following widespread interpretations of Nostradamus’ quatrains predicting a disastrous event. It’s important to remember that Nostradamus wrote in puzzles and figurative language.”

Rather than accepting the prophecies literally, Joanne believes our reaction to them exposes more about us as a society. She explained: “Historically, many of his prophecies have been retrofitted to match contemporary fears, meaning the panic we’re seeing says more about collective anxiety than any literal prediction.”
