Devotees of venturing into neglected structures, known as urban explorers, are aware of certain principles they must abide by. Among these, as indicated by HuffPost, are to always explore in pairs or larger groups, to never enter a dilapidated building by forcing entry through walls, doors, or windows, and to “take only photographs and leave only footprints.”
Nevertheless, one explorer transgressed a fundamental guideline by taking an item discovered within a decaying hospital back with them – and garnered widespread support from fellow urban exploration aficionados. The explorer presented several images of the run-down hospital, featuring graffiti-covered walls and doors, discarded medicine packaging, and boxes for video tapes of the 1986 comedy-drama She’s Gotta Have It and the 1996 science fiction thriller Independence Day. However, the final pair of images exposed something unexpected.

Disclosing that they had located a small grey-brown mackerel tabby cat, they revealed they had transported the creature to their home. The user expressed: “I’m sorry I just had to.”

They further unveiled that they had conveyed the feline to the veterinarian, who ascertained she is only approximately four months in age but is in good health and lacked a microchip.
