A Florida resident allegedly discharged a firearm at a group of individuals following a debate about the number of eggs a chicken is capable of producing earlier in the month.
The peculiar standoff took place in front of a local watering hole, rapidly transforming from casual banter into a situation that left patrons running for cover.

Peter Riera, aged 44, contacted law enforcement on November 4th, stating he had been robbed and was being pursued by three individuals in Port Saint Lucie.
Brandon Pace, 23; Kayla Damiana, 26; and Tyler McHargue, 23, had been engaging in conversation with Riera earlier that evening, discussing poultry and egg creation.
They informed authorities that the discussion had escalated to a point where Riera – who identified himself as Farmer Pete – became suspicious and believed the three were going to “attack him”.

Eyewitnesses verified that Riera accused the other three of attempting to “scam” him, produced a weapon, and fired four shots at the group.

Fortunately, no one suffered injuries during the incident, but in footage acquired by CBS 12, Riera is seen being apprehended, wearing denim overalls and without shoes.
In an astonishing twist, the victims were also taken into custody: Pace for kicking two officers while being held and Damiani for attempting to prevent them from arresting Pace.
Farmer Pete is now facing numerous charges of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon, discharging a firearm in a public area, as well as other charges, while being held on a $435,000 bail.
Subsequently, during an interview with TMZ, McHargue clarified that Farmer Pete was asking the group for advice on how he could earn additional income to financially support his family.
He states that Tyler innocently inquired about how many eggs his chickens typically produce, given that he is an egg vendor at a local market. The question was then supposedly misinterpreted, resulting in the disagreement in which the man felt he was being deceived.
Outside the bar, Farmer Pete brandished a gun and threatened to shoot them, but changed his mind. However, from the other side of the parking area, he fired in their direction, and one projectile narrowly missed McHargue’s head.
