‘Entitled neighbour kept parking in my drive until I got revenge’

A man has ‘gained new friends’ after revealing how he got petty revenge on his ‘entitled’ neighbour who kept parking in his driveway to avoid a £200 charge.

A man has been praised for getting revenge on his ‘entitled’ neighbour who keeps parking in his driveway to avoid an extra charge. He explained how residents in their complex must pay an extra £200 per month to use the car park if they don’t want to leave their car on the street.

Taking to Reddit, he said: “I live in a fairly large city where parking is difficult. My next-door neighbour doesn’t want to pay extra to park in the driveway of where he lives, so he parks on the street and takes up two spaces when he can find a spot.

“When he can’t, he feels entitled to park in my driveway or at least block it as well as other neighbours.”

However, this isn’t the only problem he causes his community as the ‘entitled’ man also drops litter all over the street rather than putting it in a bin. He also wakes up his neighbours with his “loud” phone calls outside late at night.

Wanting to teach him a lesson once and for all, the man decided to give him a taste of his own medicine when he next dared to park in his driveway.

He added: “He parked and I told him I needed to get out and he said that it wasn’t his problem. So I called a tow truck and he got towed.” To add insult to injury, he decided to have the car towed to a garage on the other side of the city, making it even harder for the neighbour to collect.

“I told them to take it all the way to their garage in Staten Island which requires paying a £15 toll to get there along with mileage and all other expenses as well as sitting in traffic for two hours,” the man said. “The neighbour comes back and is fuming, asking where his car is, I respond ‘Not my problem.’ Have fun sitting in traffic and paying £15 toll as well as your fees.”
