A man who claims to have become a millionaire in three different ways has shared the techniques he used.
While most people dream of being a multi-millionaire, not everyone knows how to achieve this financial success. But one man who claims to have become a millionaire has shared the three different approaches he took to max out his bank account.
Responding to the social media thread “Millionaires of Reddit, how did you do it?”, he explained the ups and downs of his journey to financial freedom. He said: “I made millions three different ways – crypto, online business, real estate. All entirely unrelated.”
The man says he started “dirt poor” living in a mouldy apartment because he couldn’t afford the rent elsewhere.
He shared: “I was heating my apartment by putting a brick on my stove and radiating heat. I lost half my clothing to mould. I lived in the cheapest filth imaginable to get by.”
To start, he worked two jobs to put himself through university in Canada enabling him to graduate debt-free before securing a white-collar job. He added: “I did this to stabilise my finances. While doing this full-time, I hustled for free full-time on my online business. This took years.

“I sold an online website for 30k. I spent years on this website making $20 (£11) a day and someone saw an opportunity with it that I did not see, and I sold it to them. I likely could have gotten more.”
The man got a house as soon as he was able to qualify for a mortgage – and used his $30k (£17k) to build a basement apartment.
He added: “Now I had a healthy cash flow after my day job. Using these savings, I bought crypto and simultaneously worked for free for the guy who bought my website to learn from his methods. I didn’t sell my crypto for many years, completely skipping that bull run in 2017.

“In any case, during this time, learning what I did from that buyer, I made my own company. I re-invested 100% of the money from the company into the company, I never took anything out. Gradually it became large enough that I could quit my day job.” Following this, he bought another house before selling his crypto and investing the earnings into a high-yield investment.
He concluded: “I can live off investments. Then I bought more houses by re-financing. Let the bank pay for the new ones. Now my company yields more per year than my crypto dump did that one time and I don’t use any of it for living expenses.”
Commenting on his journey to financial freedom, one user said: “Very interesting story.” Another user added: “Respect. You should be proud of yourself.”
