A mixed-breed dog has gone viral on social media after viewers of the unique hybrid were left amazed by the animal’s striking appearance.
Sharing on TikTok, owner Chubbs (@ddsmcgees) keenly showed off her “sweetie boy”, Duece, after first presenting her followers to his parents – a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd. The clip quickly cuts to Duece inside his dog house.

“If you ever wondered what a Rottweiler x German Shepherd mix would be like,” Chubbs wrote in an accompanying caption. In a previous video published in June 2025, she revealed that upon rescuing Duece’s mother, Roxy, from a shelter, she was completely unaware the dog was pregnant.
“When you come from the shelter you’re supposed to be spayed!” she declared. “Roxy, I’m sorry girl, nobody knew you was pregnant. I just thought you were putting on weight!”
Many TikTok users were left captivated by Deuce’s impressive looks, which appeared to blend his mother’s colouring with his father’s build. One commenter noted: “Every German Shepherd mix ends up having the GSD shape and the colour of the other dog.”

A second person remarked: “Looks like a healthier version of both breeds.” A third remembered fondly: “I had a Rottie mixed with a Shepherd and she was truly the best dog, such a smart girl.”

A fourth TikTok user praised: “Thank you, we think our puppy is a Rottweiler German Shepherd mix, but we couldn’t be sure. But he looks just like that fella.” And a fifth simply stated: “Wow he is so cute.”
Whilst the breed is often depicted as military or police dogs in movies, the RSPCA advises that German Shepherds are often considered to be aggressive. However, the charity argues: “But German shepherd puppies, like any breed, can develop into intelligent, loving dogs if you give them the right training and socialisation.”
