A car abandoned at the scene of an accident, with an unusual driver in the front seat

It is common to see a broken down car on the side of the road when traveling from one point to another.

However, such incidents do not always involve such unusual drivers.

There was a car accident on Mill Lane in Swindon some time ago – the exact date remains unknown – and the site has been abandoned ever since.

So locals were puzzled when they noticed an inflatable sex doll had been placed in an abandoned car.

The doll sat behind the wheel and looked out into the absence of a front window on the driver's side.

Photos of the hilarious incident were posted on local Facebook groups, with Casey Warren-Keel noting: “I was the one talking to the police officer when it happened.”

“The driver fled after damaging the car, but whoever it was, I couldn't stop laughing this morning.”

It was hoped that the increased attention to the incident would prompt the car's owner to come forward and remove the vehicle, but the wreckage remains in place.

Instead, the inflatable doll was removed after a few days.

Photos from the scene show the car appears to have crashed into a yellow sign with black and white arrows warning of a sharp bend ahead.

Then he drove off the road and found himself in a ditch full of reeds and other undergrowth.
