Gripping footage has captured the moment a man experiences excruciating pain after being bitten on the penis by a snake.
The victim was seen sitting on the ground in the woods, making a face in pain as the large reptile chewed on his groin area through his trousers. A friend tried to help the man by inserting a stick into the snake's mouth and pouring water over its head, but the reptile showed no sign of leaving.
The man holds the snake's head with one hand and the body of the large reptile with the other. At one point, the snake appears to jerk violently, causing the man to cry out in pain again. The clip was filmed in the Pantanal, west of Brasilia, Brazil, home to the world's largest flooded grasslands and tropical wetlands.

One observer remarked, “Who's going to suck out the venom?” Another added, “That was painful to watch, and I'm not even a guy.” Renata joked, “That's probably a snake eating eggs.” Jose commented, “That's a snake swallowing another snake right there.”
Rafael noted: “If it is a black mamba, the chances of survival are slim. Especially in that part of the body, castration for sure.” The man was reportedly taken to hospital for treatment after the snake eventually released its grip on his lower parts. There was no further news on his current condition.
In 2020, a teenager was taken to hospital after a snake bit him on the penis while he was sitting on the toilet. Siraphop Masukarat went to the toilet when he suddenly felt a burning pain in his manhood.
A university student looked down to see a python clamping its jaws around the tip of his penis. He quickly let go, sending blood splattering into the toilet. Siraphop, 18, screamed in terror as he ran out of the bathroom with his pants down to his ankles in Nonthaburi, central Thailand, about 20km north of Bangkok, in September 2020.
The teenager's panicked mother calmed him down before paramedics rushed the boy to nearby Bang Yai Hospital for treatment. Doctors gave Sirapop three stitches to the glands at the tip of his penis and treated the bite wound with antibacterial fluid to kill any bacteria from the python's fangs.
Siraphop said: “I was using the toilet, but moments after I sat down, I suddenly felt pain in my penis. I looked down and saw a snake hanging in the toilet. Then there was blood everywhere. It was just a small snake, but its bite was very strong. I hope my penis can recover.” Animal handlers arrived at the two-story house and began searching for the snake, which was still curled up in the toilet.
