Shark Week 2025 is on the horizon, and in honor of our 37th anniversary, we’re excited to bring you some exciting new programming. Once again, we’ve put together a handy guide on how to watch Shark Week 2025, including air times, available platforms, and the top shows to watch.
While the event has attracted celebrities like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jason Momoa in recent years, Discovery is likely to take a more subdued (and perhaps more extreme) approach in 2025. Shark Week has been around since 1988 and aims to help us appreciate and understand these amazing animals, rather than escalate fear.
We recognise that this has not always lived up to its stated purpose, but Discovery is now successfully showcasing sharks to the world while significantly increasing the entertainment value.
