Astrophysicist 'proves' God is real with revolutionary mathematical formula

A Harvard researcher claims to have used complex mathematical calculations to prove the existence of a higher intelligence, sparking a lively philosophical debate online.

Dr. Willy Sun, an astrophysicist at an elite university, rightly believes that his understanding of the cosmos and its laws is deeper than many of his colleagues.

Despite the historical confrontation between scientific and religious views on the origin of the world, Song was able to find common ground between the disciplines through his concept of the universe and human life.

During a broadcast on the Tucker Carlson Network, a Smithsonian scientist laid out the principles of the “precise calibration argument.” The idea emphasizes the unprecedented precision of the physical parameters of the universe that have created unique conditions for life — conditions so rare that they are difficult to explain away as chance.

The basis of this statement were ideas first formulated by Cambridge physicist Paul Dirac in 1963. As reported by the Mirror US , Dirac put forward the hypothesis that the mathematical harmony of the laws of the universe indicates the presence of a creative principle.

In his work sixty years ago, the scientist noted: “One of the key characteristics of nature is that its fundamental principles are described by mathematical models of exceptional beauty and complexity, requiring a high level of mathematical training to understand them.”

“Why is the universe structured this way? The only possible answer is that modern data indicate that this is its natural state. All we can do is accept this fact.”

“It can be said that the supreme intelligence has incredible mathematical abilities and applied extraordinary calculations in the formation of the Universe.”

Dr. Sun elaborates on this idea in a television appearance: “Many universal forces enable us to comprehend reality. The Supreme Intelligence has given us this knowledge so that we can seek knowledge and realize our potential.”

His theory represents a scientific version of the classic “watchmaker's argument” familiar to many from school curricula.

A famous analogy compares the universe to a chronometer. A watch with a complex design that is found implies the existence of a watchmaker. Similarly, the structure of the universe hints at the presence of an intelligent designer.

However, Sun's views are not universally accepted. Criticism of his fine-tuning theory focuses on two aspects.

The first concerns the limitations of human knowledge: as carbon-based life forms, we cannot rule out the possibility of other physical realities in other dimensions, based on other elements.

The second argument appeals to probability theory. Unimaginable coincidences happen regularly, and in the case of our Universe – despite the slim odds – they have become reality.
