Hungarian illustrator Gergely Dudas' painting shows a multitude of turtles nestled in fields. But a snake is hiding openly among them. Although it stands out as the only shell-less reptile, it is extremely difficult to spot.

The illustration is created using tricks that make it visually complex. The main trick is the predominance of green shades: this color is present not only in the reptiles, but also in the grass, foliage and surrounding landscape, which adds to the difficulty.
