The Crypt Choir of The King’s School Canterbury delivered a thrilling performance of Ding Dong! Merrily on High, singing at 45mph and 66ft high in the air.
The choir took an exhilarating trip to Chessington World of Adventures to perform some of the UK’s most beloved carols on the theme park’s Mandrill Mayhem rollercoaster.

The choir is set to kick off Chessington World of Adventures’ Winter’s Tail event, which includes a grotto, live shows and entertainment, and an exclusive carol concert on 23rd November.
Will Bersey, director of music at The King’s School Canterbury, commented:”Such extreme carol singing was an experience our choristers won’t forget any time soon.”

A recent poll by Chessington revealed 67% say carols are essential for the perfect Christmas vibe and that three in 10 people actually considered carols as one of their favourite aspects of the season.
Despite the appeal of Christmas pop hits, 45% still prefer timeless traditional carols, with 21% confessing to listening to carol songs almost daily.
Interestingly, Gen Z appeared to be the most enthusiastic about holiday melodies, with an impressive 9 out of 10 relishing in Christmas carols.
For some, the seasonal songs evoked nostalgic memories about school while 43 per cent associate them with cherished moments spent with their families.
Nearly two-fifths of Gen Z are keen to attend a carol service this year, with ‘Silent Night’ taking the top spot as the nation’s favourite carol.
‘O Come, All Ye Faithful’ and ‘Jingle Bells’. ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’ and ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing’ round out the top five.
