HP has updated its offering, and the OmniBook Ultra 14 is claimed to be the most powerful Windows-based AI PC. We can see why, with high-end AMD hardware packed into a compact chassis, plus 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. There’s also a 50-TOPS NPU, which means very long battery life.

This model looks like a step up in every way from previous models — including the HP Envy x360 and HP Spectre x360 — but will the lack of an OLED display be a concern?

LCDs tend to be brighter, but will we miss the rich colors and deep blacks? We were pleased to learn that the HP OmniBook Ultra 14, at least on paper, has everything a programmer could need without breaking the bank.
