SpaceX launched a new batch of Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit from the east coast of Florida early Tuesday morning.

The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center at 1:02 a.m. ET.

The mission's goal was to launch 28 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit, where they will become part of an expanding Starlink cluster of thousands of orbital stations providing high-speed, low-latency internet around the world.

The first stage of the launch vehicle, which completed its record-breaking 28th flight, successfully returned to Earth after separation and landed on the unmanned vessel Just Read the Instructions, which was waiting for it in the Atlantic Ocean.

About an hour after launch, SpaceX confirmed the satellites' placement on X.
