Stargazers, get ready for a spectacle: the full Strawberry Moon is coming soon!

This will be the last full moon of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, and June's Strawberry Moon will also be the lowest full moon of the year for observers north of the equator, and one of the farthest from the Sun.

The full moon will occur at 3:45 a.m. ET on Wednesday (June 11), but because it's so early, the best time to view it will be Tuesday evening (June 10), when it rises at dusk. When viewing the moon, look to its upper right for Antares, a bright star about 550 light-years away in the constellation Scorpius.
