What kind of pets are fashionable to have today?

Of course, you can't buy a family for money. But you can buy a brother. If it's “our little brother”: four-legged or with hooves, floating in the bathtub or hovering under the ceiling, fluffy or covered in green scales. And this same pet will lift your spirits and decorate your home with itself.

Mini piggies
Miniature pigs – mini-piggies – came into fashion several years ago, and became especially popular after a small pig appeared in George Clooney’s house. The smaller the pig, the more valuable they are: there are mini-piggies for two, three, five thousand. Green. If so, then in an untrustworthy place you can be slipped an expensive, but the most ordinary piglet, only starved – a little later the owner of a small snout will turn into a 200-kilogram sow. In fact, a mini-pig weighs 15-20 kilograms, unless, of course, you fatten it up: this animal has an excellent appetite, and sometimes it is simply impossible to refuse your pet a treat!
Very smart, affectionate and funny, they are easily trained to perform various commands. They love to communicate, sit on your hands and under favorable circumstances can live up to thirty years.

Chihuahua
The smallest dogs in the world are very popular today. The ancient Indians who inhabited modern Mexico considered them a sacred animal (due to the fact that there is a small hole in their skulls through which they supposedly can communicate with space. The Indians were a wise people, so we will not dispute the sacredness of the dog). Today, thanks to the PR of Paris Hilton, the little ones are at the peak of fashion.
Chihuahua, which weighs only 1-1.5 kg, does not need regular exercise outside – they easily master the usual cat toilet. In general, this big-eyed and big-eared baby is a very funny, smart and touching animal.

Chinchilla
Chinchilla is not the most expensive fur in the world, but a charming pet, reminiscent of a rabbit with a funny long tail and awkwardly sized whiskers. Anyone who has ever looked into the huge beady eyes of a chinchilla, stroked its soft fur or treated it to a piece of apple, will never buy anything made from the fur of this gentle, sweet creature.
Chinchillas are affectionate and cheerful sweet-toothed creatures who spend all their time grooming themselves. You can buy such a baby for about 5-10 thousand rubles. It costs less than a fur coat and warms with its existence.

Iguana
Iguanas became fashionable around the world about 10 years ago, but this hobby came to us late, which is why today it is considered incredibly exotic – especially in our Siberian city.
A young iguana itself costs mere pennies, but all the necessary attributes are not cheap at all. To keep such a pet, you need a large terrarium (the animal can grow up to two meters!), heating lamps, fresh greenery in the middle of winter, and so on and so forth… In addition, what is going on in this dragon's soul is unknown. However, it is obvious: the lizard is not as indifferent as it seems. The iguana can get bored if you go on vacation, and even refuse to eat. These exotic lizards love to sit on your lap and almost all of them do not disdain to sleep with their owner under the same blanket.

Decorative rabbit
There are many breeds of dwarf rabbits. All are charming in their own way, but perhaps the most touching are the lop-eared ones. If rodents with optimistically protruding ears look incredibly happy with life, then the long hanging ears of these rabbits make them look tragic – you just want to pick them up and feel sorry for them.
Although dwarf rabbits are very small (their weight is from 1 to 2 kilos), they are very smart. They like attention and affection, but they are offended by violence and sadly hide in their house. Left unattended, this pet will instantly figure out all the wires, flowers in pots and “wrongly” protruding upholstery on furniture.

Maine Coon
This cat breed is considered to be aboriginal, spontaneously originating in the forests of the American state of Maine. According to another version, it is a descendant of Marie Antoinette's cats, which the French queen saved from the impending revolution by sending overseas.
Maine Coons are the largest cats living in our homes: a purebred cat can weigh about fifteen kilos. They look rather gloomy with their cold gaze and dangerous tassels on their ears. In fact, these cats are very cute, affectionate, kind and playful. The whole world has long appreciated the advantages of Maine Coons, but here they are just becoming fashionable. Now you can become the owner of such an exotic, saying goodbye to a sum approximately equal to a thousand American dollars.
