Today, human mores regarding sexual relations have changed dramatically. Views on marriage and infidelity have also changed. American scientists confirmed this after surveying users of a dating website.
An online survey revealed that many behaviors previously considered unacceptable are now perceived as normal. For example, 97% of respondents believe that watching pornographic films is not considered cheating on one's partner.
However, just under 5% of survey respondents believe that sex with a doll for a married person constitutes adultery. One in seven respondents would be okay with their girlfriend or boyfriend cheating on their partner with a married man or woman. Also, 60% would never admit to their partner that they had an affair.
Thirty-one percent of respondents believe that infidelity can be forgiven in exceptional cases and is not considered uncommon. Regarding monogamy, two-thirds of respondents would not be able to live with the same partner their entire lives, while 80% of women and men view threesomes favorably.
