Researchers conducted a survey and found that love at first sight is not a very good indicator, especially when it comes to the stronger half of humanity.
Nearly 5,000 single men and women participated in the survey. More than 40% of men who fall in love at first sight cheat on their partners. For women, this rate is significantly lower.
Experts have found that men who believe in love at first sight are three times more likely to cheat on their partner. This may be because someone who falls in love quickly is likely to do so repeatedly.
“For men who fall in love at first sight, the feeling of being in love and being loved means practically the same thing, which is why they cheat more often,” British researchers claim.
