Three woman have been hospitalised following a fight in a Zara changing room sparked by an excess of items.

On Saturday afternoon a woman walked into the fitting rooms of the store in Pontevedra in Galicia, Spain.

The 30-year-old was carrying six pieces of clothing instead of the four allowed under coronavirus restrictions.

When a saleswoman told her of the rule, the customer threw the garments into the employee's face, The Olive Press reported.

The intense reaction prompted a 55-year-old customer to intervene, who was subsequently punched in the head by the first woman.
