You probably know someone who suffers from cancer. This disease is caused by uncontrolled cell division and can have serious consequences, sometimes very serious.

Cancer can develop in any part of the body, as each tissue and organ is made up of billions or even trillions of cells. However, there are parts of the body where cancer is less common, such as the heart. Research shows that heart cancer develops in 3 out of 10,000 people. In comparison, breast cancer affects 1 in 20 women. Why is that?
