Italian researcher claims four satellites reveal identical formations buried more than 3,500ft below – but established Egyptologists dismiss reports Share Article Share Article Facebook X LinkedIn Reddit Bluesky Email Copy Link Link copied Bookmark Comments

A group of Italian scientists left people astonished last March when they announced the finding of a vast underground system stretching nearly 3,500 feet under Egypt’s Giza Plateau, connecting chambers reportedly the dimensions of city blocks.
Now Filippo Biondi – the radar expert in charge of the imaging technique – has come forward with what he calls compelling evidence.

In a recent discussion on Jesse Michels’ American Alchemy podcast, Mr Biondi revealed that four different satellite providers – Umbra, Capella Space, ICEYE, and Italy’s Cosmo-SkyMed – each produced identical raw tomography information displaying the same subterranean arrangements.
Mr Biondi stated: “All four satellites gave exactly the same results. That is truly remarkable. We can’t publicize anything without these essential scientific confirmations.”
Using a method he invented – synthetic aperture radar Doppler tomography – Mr Biondi’s group examines subtle movements on the Earth’s crust. He explains that these movements hold acoustic “signatures” from structures thousands of feet under the surface, enabling software to develop 3D reconstructions even though the radar signals never truly penetrate the earth.

The scans, he insists, uncover eight substantial hollow cylinders dropping vertically from the base of the Khafre pyramid, the central feature of the three great pyramids.

Each shaft supposedly contains a central pillar enclosed in precise helical coils and concludes over 3,500 feet under the plateau in cubic chambers measuring approximately 260 feet on each side – surpassing many current sports arenas.
Mr Biondi declared: “The pyramids are just the visible part of something bigger. They’re simply a covering to something much more extensive underneath. The true structure is below.”

When asked whether the spiral formations could be naturally occurring geological occurrences, he responded definitively: “Absolutely not. It’s artificial. You simply don’t see perfect spirals like this forming in geology.”
However, several established experts – including well-known Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass – have dismissed the claims as “false reports” since they initially surfaced in the spring.
Hawass has argued that the radar-based technology cannot possibly obtain images at the depths claimed by the Italian group.

Egypt: Explorers discover ‘strange door’ under Great Pyramid of Giza Trending
Regardless of the criticism, the scientists maintain they are continuing forward, alleging they have spotted similar – though smaller – patterns under the third pyramid, Menkaure, along with a single large shaft beneath the Sphinx. The same spiral-shaft shape was also identified 30 miles away at Hawara, a location ancient writers called the Labyrinth.
The Giza complex consists of three pyramids – Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure – erected 4,500 years ago on a rocky plateau on the west shore of the Nile River in northern Egypt. So far, the group has documented a depth exceeding 3,280 feet, more than half a mile underground.
