UFO hunters claim to have found evidence of alien life on Mars, exposing NASA photos of what they believe are alien ruins.
A supposed alien archway was photographed by NASA’s Mars Curiosity rover on its eight-year trek across the Red Planet. And although at first glance the alien ruins appear to be nothing more than oddly shaped rocks, some UFO hunters are convinced this could be the real deal. The bizarre claims were made by prominent conspiracy theorist and self-appointed ET expert Scott C Waring.

According to Mr Waring’s analysis of the NASA photos, the Martian rocks are part of an ancient structure that has been lost to time.
Bizarrely, he said the archway is most likely minuscule, measuring no more than 18 inches (45cm) in height.
But more of the structure could be hidden under the rusty brown sands that have swept over the rock.
In his opinion, the NASA photos are clear evidence of extraterrestrial activity on the Red Planet.

Mr Waring said: “I found a doorway that was standing all alone at the base of a hillside on Mars.
“I found it in Sol 1381 and the details are fantastic.
“The archway is about 18 inches tall or 45cm, however, I believe the bottom of the doorway is buried below some dirt from the hillside, so it may be two times taller.
“The doorway is, of course, part of a larger structure that no longer exists.”
And despite the zoomed-in image’s poor resolution, the UFO hunter said there are extraordinary accents in the trimming around the doorway.
He added: “Any doorway that leads you to a deeper understanding of yourself is a worthwhile one.”
But this is not the first time Mr Waring has shared outrageous claims about ETs on Mars.
Earlier this year, he shared photos of what he claimed was a humanoid alien buried on Mars.

Just a few days later, he once again claimed to have found Curiosity photos of alien figures on the Red Planet.
Most scientists, however, agree there is no evidence of life on Mars, as far as we can tell.
There is some suspicion very simple life may have developed billions of years ago and the theory will be investigated NASA’s Mars Perseverance rover from February next year.
Instead, Mr Waring’s supposed discoveries can be explained through a well-known phenomenon called pareidolia.
Pareidolia, which is a form of apophenia, describes the brain’s tendency to see recognisable shapes and patterns in everyday objects.
Pareidolia causes people to see faces in car bumpers or animals in fluffy clouds.
NASA said: “Pareidolia is the psychological phenomenon where people see recognizable shapes in clouds, rock formations, or otherwise unrelated objects or data.
“There are many examples of this phenomenon on Earth and in space.”
