A delivery driver was left in stitches after an unusual delivery note was left by a customer who worried about their beloved pet.
An Amazon driver was left in stitches after coming across a heartwarming note from a customer regarding their sensitive pet.
The customer had left a special request in the delivery instructions, which are typically used to specify where to leave the parcel on the property.
However, this particular note was a bit out of the ordinary and brought a smile to the driver’s face. The note, shared on Reddit, reads: “Pig is very sensitive. Walking by her completely ignoring her will result in her feeling self-conscious and becoming depressed for several hours. It will be highly appreciated that if you don’t pet or scratch her back, that you say hi to her. Thanks.”

Reddit users were delighted by the note, with one commenter saying: “Honestly out of all the stuff I dealt with on a daily basis working for them, whenever I got a customer instruction like this it literally made my day so much better.”
Another user chimed in: “If that pig came up to me looking for attention then I just don’t know how I could not give scratches! ” A third user added: “OMG imagine having a huge route and just an all around bad day and then bam you get to give a pig some lovings. That would be amazing.”
Speaking on the astute nature of pigs, a user weighed in saying: “The worst part is that pigs are very smart and very sensitive socially, also very dramatic for some reason, so this could even not be an exaggeration.”

Meanwhile, a fellow delivery driver shared an amusing note made by a customer which transformed an otherwise dull day. They recounted: “This weekend I had a delivery that said ‘Please throw boxes past the gate onto the property. No, actually please don’t. The goats will eat it and I’ll be sad.’ When I showed up, I was eagerly greeted at the gate by a crowd of five or six affectionate goats, all vying to be petted.”
Another delivery worker chimed in: “As someone that delivers with them, this is the only kind of special request I’m on board with.”
And another said: “This would be the kind of instruction that would bring joy to my day if I got it on one of my deliveries, but no, I always get something along the lines of don’t park in my driveway or please put at gate. Delivery to porch. Contradictory people.”
