A Dominos customer was not impressed after they were delivered a pepperoni pizza with a surprising ‘side dish’ that isn’t edible.
A Domino’s customer was left outraged after receiving a pepperoni pizza accompanied by an unexpected extra in the box – but some weren’t sympthetic.
Social media users have advised the complainant to quit their grumbling about the surprise addition, with some even suggesting it has boosted the value of the meal substantially.
Taking to Twitter/X, the customer reported an issue with their food delivery. Their tweet read: “@dominos please explain to me why this came with my pizza delivery… I just don’t remember ordering this item with my two topping medium pizza.”
Accompanying the message was an image of the dish topped with pepperoni and a pizza cutter, usually a staple in Domino’s employee toolkit that allegedly ended up in the customer’s order by mistake.
Original tweeter, @jierdoispharaoh, remarked: “Ima need y’all to come pick this damn pizza cutter up before I put it on eBay… times rough.”

The post, which was first shared back in 2021, was reposted this month. Replies to both the initial and subsequent stories essentially conveyed the same sentiment – keep the slicer and stop complaining.
One individual humorously commented: “Man you got a free cutter that’s a damn gift cheer up.” A second wrote: “That’s actually awesome, that cutter works amazing.”
Someone even described the pizza slice as “better than a Happy Meal toy” – and many urged them to keep it. One joked: “You better wash that thing and put it in your drawer.”
It goes without saying that if you find a random item in your pizza box, you probably shouldn’t touch it. Instead, we’d recommend reporting it to your local takeaway so they can assist you.
