Last night’s Capricorn moon (July 21) means that you need to do certain things now and for the next couple of months, according to an astrologer.
The Capricorn full moon is “not a moon you want to miss” as there’s so much potential to be had.
The transit happened last night (21 July) and it’s set to be an “intensely transformative” time that is “all about killing something off in our lives that’s no longer serving us”, according to astrologer Alexie Gigi.
She said there were things you definitely should do, and things you should avoid in the next week and few months, adding that it’s important to ride this energy wave until the autumn time.
Alexie said it’s important to “do cleansing rituals” because this full moon is conjunct with Pluto – the planet of death, rebirth and new beginnings. “The full moon right now is a foreshadow of what is to come for the rest of the summer,” she said on TikTok, “until November 2024.”
She likened this moment to The Tower tarot card, saying that we’re at a point where the tower has crumbled and “we’re left with ashes” – meaning the “tower serves no purpose in our lives anymore”.

But then after The Tower card, Alexie says always comes The Sun, which represents “new beginnings” and “rebuilding from new material” – so a fresh start.
She said in our lives, “something is coming to an end” and “we can feel sad over it”, but ultimately something needs to change and we shouldn’t just try to place a sticking plaster on the tower that has come tumbling down around us.
She urged people to “walk away from it”, rather than attempting to rebuild from the old materials, so we can “reach that new thing that aligns with our higher self”.
Alexie also said you should work with your “dark feminine energy”, urging people to find out their lilith placement – which is your “shadow side” – so you can “look deep within”.

She said it’s important to face fears and traumas, as it’s a “form of healing” to do shadow work. This allows us to “move forward” according to the astrologer.
Alexie also said people should “not ignore emotions” during this period, adding: “Do not suppress anything.”
“Feel absolutely everything that comes up,” she urged, “face your fears, face your emotions, face your traumas head on.”
