Dramatic footage captured by a US drone shows the moment a bright, shiny “UFO” is hit by a missile but remains unharmed and continues on its way. Earlier this week, the US Congress held another hearing on “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena” (UFOs) – the new term for unidentified flying objects (UFOs). The hearings featured various videos taken by the military and navy that appeared to show unidentified phenomena caught on camera.
But it’s one video, allegedly filmed on October 30, 2024, that’s the most intriguing. The footage, captured by a U.S. MQ-9 drone, shows an orb flying off the coast of Yemen. It appears to capture the moment an unidentified bright, shiny orb is struck by an American Hellfire missile, which then bounces off. Congressman Eric Burlison called it “astonishing evidence,” News Nation reports. “A Reaper drone fired a Hellfire missile at this thing,” he said. “And the missile appears to have had no effect.” The missile, officially designated the AGM-114 Hellfire, is a laser-guided missile designed to precisely target drones and is capable of “defeating any tank in the world today,” according to Military.com.

“She kept moving and it appears the debris took her with it,” Representative Eric Burlison, who released the video, said during the hearing.
“I won’t speculate on what’s going on, but the question is, why are they blocking this information?”
Mr. Burlison said the recording was given to him by an informant.
Other incidents have been discussed in Congress, including one witnessed by U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Alexandro Wiggins, who claimed to have seen an unusual object while serving aboard the USS Jackson in 2023.

“What I observed and what our crew recorded does not correspond to normal aircraft or drones as they appear in our system.
“A self-luminous object in the shape of a ticking tick emerged from the ocean before joining three other similar objects. The ball then disappeared simultaneously with a high, synchronized, almost instantaneous acceleration,” Mr Wiggins told the hearing.
He added that there was no sonic boom, but radar and other sensors recorded it.
Earlier this year, US intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard said the existence of extraterrestrial life “cannot be ruled out” and warned that unexplained objects in the skies over the US required serious investigation. Ms Gabbard promised to “share the truth”, saying she believed in the existence of aliens and that extraterrestrials are real.
