LIFE after death is real, according to a man who claims to have received a telepathic message from God during a near-death experience (NDE).
A man who introduced himself as Nigel, claims to have caught a glimpse of the afterlife after suffering three strokes in a single day in 2015. Although not fatal, the incident left Nigel on the verge of death and he believes he left his body. During the so-called near-death experience (NDE), Nigel said he had a life review and he had a chance to ponder everything he has accomplished.

Nigel shared his memories with the Near-Death Experience Research Foundation (NDERF).
He said: “I was calm and without any pain. I knew I was dying and it did not seem to be of any importance to me.
“As I was preparing to leave my body, my life was ‘rolled out’ for me to view.
“I was disappointed at how little I accomplished.

Life after death: THIS is the process you will go through when you die
“Then I became aware of a presence who said telepathically, ‘You have done enough; you can come over.'”
Nigel was then overcome with a feeling of comfort, calm and beautiful peace.
He described the space around him as a soft yellow or gold backdrop.
The experience made him realise how short life is “in cosmic terms”.
Nigel said: “As we discussed my life, I felt guilt that I had not provided security for my wide and could not leave her without addressing her future security.
“I told ‘God’ that I had to return even if I had now fulfilled whatever it was I was meant to have done.
“I had the insight that we are all here to allow souls to experience ‘life’, however painful or rewarding, bland or stunning the soul’s existence.”
He added: “I now knew what peace really is.”
Nigel lost his sight for three days after the strokes and it took months of physical therapy before he could walk and talk again.
He said: “I felt a profound sense of loss for leaving the ‘place’ and having to return to this life.

Life after death: Man spoke to Jesus Christ before the gates to heaven
“This feeling is with me all day and every day.”
However, modern medical research has not found any evidence of life after death is real.
Instead, experts believe NDEs can be explained through non-supernatural means.
One theory suggests NDEs are hallucinations triggered by a lack of oxygen flowing to the brain.
Another theory has proposed NDEs are triggered by dying brain cells during a moment of trauma.
According to Dr Sam Parnia, director of critical care and resuscitation research at NYU Langone School of Medicine in New York City, many NDEs share common elements.
NDE patients often recall out-of-body experiences, seeing lights or hearing voices.
Dr Parnia said during an OZ Talk: “They often say that they didn’t want to come back in many cases, it is so comfortable and it is like a magnet that draws them that they don’t want to come back.
“A lot of people describe a sensation of separating from themselves and watching doctors and nurses working on them.”
