A man has been praised for the rather gross way he got revenge on an ‘entitled’ plane passenger who kept grabbing his seat throughout the flight.
A man has been lauded as a hero after cleverly dealing with an ‘entitled’ passenger who would not stop grabbing his seat on a flight. While travelling from Germany to Macedonia, he had anticipated a smooth journey.
However, the passenger behind him disrupted his peace by shaking and grabbing at his seat multiple times, turning an ordinary trip into an ordeal. Sharing the story on Reddit, he said: “Not even leaving the gate, I felt my seat shaking. Turning around, I saw a man grabbing the back of my seat.
“He saw me, removed his hand, and I thought that was that. But no, he repeated this act multiple times within the next 10 minutes. Each time I’d lean back trying to press against his hand, making him retract it. After the plane took off, the shaking resumed. I looked back again, but this time, he was only grabbing the very top, out of my head’s reach.”
Deciding to confront the issue head-on, he explained how he “dramatically” turned around for a full view of the nuisance-maker – noticing him conversing with a woman three rows back, presumably his partner separated due to opting for cheaper ‘random seat selection’, which left them far apart.
He added: “When our eyes met, he pulled his hand away.

“By this point, he’d done this at least 20 times and I was getting irritated, to say the least.” In a bid to teach the man a lesson, he decided to take matters into his own hands and get revenge.
He shared: “The next time I felt the shaking, pretending to stretch, I wet my fingers with a generous lick, near spit on them, grabbed the back of my seat, and just doused his hand.” He revealed that the plan worked, adding: “Needless to say, he didn’t touch my seat for the remainder of the flight.”

Some users praised his actions, with one person saying: “I wish I would’ve been there to see the face he made.”
Another user commented: “I had a woman who reached back over her head and grabbed her seat top covering the top of my screen. I made her aware she was in my space and then she explained list how this is her seat and she can do what she wants. I fully agreed and asked her what channel she wanted to watch. Every 15 seconds until she shut up. Problem solved for the flight.”

A third user chimed in: “Had a similar experience at a concert once. Guy behind me kept putting his hand on my back and trying to push me forward. I let it go and held my ground the first couple of times, but he continued. So I grabbed his hand and held it every time he pushed. Guess he wasn’t too keen on holding another man’s hand while his girlfriend was standing next to him.
“Eventually he got aggressive about it and I turned around and said look dude if you continue touching me we will be holding hands for the rest of the concert. Guess who moved somewhere else and stopped bothering me. Sometimes you got to make a power move that they don’t expect.”
