Little Arla has been left with a facial disfigurement after being hit by a car – and needs an owner who can overlook her appearance.

She was struck by a car when she was a puppy causing a facial disfigurement – but she doesn’t let that stop her from living life to its fullest.
Crossbreed Arla is searching for a new home after being taken in by the rescue team at Miracle’s Mission – and hopes 2025 will be her year to find happiness.
The poor pooch, who is around three-years-old, spent her early years in Egypt where she experienced a “life of pain”, starting with being hit by a car as a young puppy.
A statement reads: “She was rescued by a shelter and recovered well but remains disfigured. She has made a good recovery but her breathing is a little louder than a dog without this disability.”

Arla has been described as a “very sweet playful girl who is good with children and other dogs” – and could make a “lovely family pet” for the right owners. The statement adds: “Her sweet personality really shines through and they would love to see her getting the attention and love she truly deserves after an early life full of pain and suffering.”
Weighing around 20kg, she is a medium-sized dog who is used to wearing a harness and leash walks. Arla needs a loving home who can help her adjust to a new routine and commit to teaching her basic training. She has not yet been spayed but this has been scheduled.
Commenting on Arla’s heartbreaking story on Facebook, one supporter said: “Oh beautiful Arla. I wish I had room for her.” Another user added: “Oh my. She is just the cutest little girl.” A third user said: “Ohh she’s beautiful.” While one more added: “Oooh I love her.”
