Cajsa Wessberg, 33, spotted a video online where a beauty blogger used broccoli to apply fake freckles.
She decided to give it a go herself by applying a contour stick to a head of broccoli and dabbing it onto her cheeks.
Cajsa was stunned by the natural-looking results achieved by the vegetable.
The influencer and model, from Stockholm, Sweden, said: “I saw someone else do it and I had some broccoli at home, I thought ‘why not? Let’s try it’.
“I put contour stick from Fenty on the broccoli – it was fun to try. I was surprised it worked and it looked really cute.”
Cajsa said during summer her skin naturally develops freckles due to the sun.
But she said she would be tempted to try the hack again in winter.
She added: “In winter we don’t get much sun in Sweden, so you have to fake it ’til you make it.”
