A woman has criticised her 'respected' neighbour for demanding he move a garden fence that was blocking her view.
She said that soon after she moved in, she installed a wooden fence allowing her dog to roam freely around the garden without disturbing her neighbours.

Just a few hours after the fence was installed, her neighbor Linda came out to inspect it, creating a “friendly new neighbor atmosphere.” But it soon became apparent that Linda’s intentions were far from good—she was simply examining the fence site with particular attention.
The woman wrote on Reddit: “She asked if I would mind moving the fence about six feet. I asked why I would do that.
“She explained that it was blocking her view from the kitchen and she liked to look at the trees, and that if I moved it, I would still have plenty of space in the yard.

“I tried to politely explain to her that the fence was entirely on my property line, since I had already had a survey done, and moving it would effectively give her another six feet of my yard for free.
She said she lived there for 15 years and always looked down on the place, so that was basically her opinion. I couldn't help but tell her “no.”
Since then, Linda has been trying to make my life more difficult.
She added: 'Since then she has twice 'accidentally' thrown leaves and branches over the fence and last week I noticed her trying to look over it from the ladder.'
“When I told her about it, she said that if I weren't so selfish, she wouldn't have to do it.”
Seeking advice, she turned to social media to ask users what they would do in the same situation.
One user responded: “Write her down and report her actions to the city.”
Another suggested: “Ask her why she doesn't just move her kitchen window to where she can enjoy the view.”
A third added: “Set up cameras and next time she tries to peek out, hose her face down.”

Another user expressed disbelief: “Wow, the nerve to come up and ask you to move the fence. What? Are you seriously just going to tear the fence down and put it back up for her? I would have laughed at her too.
“You might want to get a ring camera and point it at the part of the fence next to her yard.
“Just so you can capture her madness on video, because there's a chance she might damage your fence when you're not around.”
