A security specialist has drawn attention to the “absence of official direction” regarding actions to take during a nuclear assault, pinpointing four locations as hazardous.
This develops as the UK intensifies its backing for Gulf collaborators, and a military historian asserts that the UK lacks readiness for an attack.

Iran possesses a missile with the capability of reaching the UK, and historian and author Dr Mark Felton has offered his insight on Iran’s missile potentials. Felton informed his Youtube viewers on Mark Felton Productions that the UK is “not equipped for such attacks”.
He emphasized our lack of an Israeli-esque Iron Dome air defense system or surface-to-air missiles protecting our infrastructure or nuclear energy.
Anthony Glees, professor at the University of Buckinghamshire, concurred, stating to The Express: “If your residence is in central London or close to a military objective such as Faslane or an RAF air base, you would, regrettably, be instantly consumed.”

The other two areas to steer clear of are elevated hills and apartments. Glees elaborated: “Do not attempt to flee to the hills, and avoid residing in an apartment complex; the higher your altitude, the greater the peril.”

Last Thursday, Luke Pollard, the Minister for Defence Readiness and Industry, observed representatives from 13 prominent UK-based defense firms convening with Gulf ambassadors and defense attachés to explore novel industry support for regional partners.
Glees added: ”We are missing formal advice from the Government on this matter, which I consider quite shameful.”
This transpires as the MOD verified the UK’s intention to procure additional Lightweight Multirole Missiles (LMM) to equip British forces and aid partners in the region, potentially including training within the UK.
Lightweight Multirole Missiles, produced by Thales UK in Belfast, have already demonstrated substantial effectiveness for air protection in the Middle East.
The discussion centered on possible new defensive equipment and technology that UK-based businesses could swiftly provide to allies to counteract Iranian drone and missile strikes.
UK industry representatives from both well-established leaders and inventive new companies attended alongside ambassadors and defense attachés from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, Iraq, and Jordan.
Defence Secretary, John Healey MP commented: “Iran’s undiscriminating assaults pose a threat to Britain, our confederates, and our associates in the region. Consequently, our committed Armed Forces are undertaking protective measures in the Middle East.
