Numerous individuals recount unusual occurrences following the demise of cherished individuals, with birds frequently regarded as a communication from the other side. An astrologer has clarified the importance of seeing robins particularly after death, and what one should do should they see one.
Speaking on behalf of the tarot reading platform Tarotoo, astrologer Inbaal Honigman conveyed: “In a spiritual sense, avians represent optimism and autonomy. This is connected to their wings and their capacity to soar, which gives the impression that they are closer to the divine, to paradise.

“For instance, angel wings are very bird-like. The ability of birds to traverse the skies seems genuinely miraculous to humans, since we are incapable of flight.
“Specifically, robins embody the connection between the heavens and the earth, and this bird is regarded as a spiritual symbol of revitalization and renewal. As an individual concludes their life on this planet, they experience a transformation and evolve into a spiritual entity. Robins are viewed as messengers connecting the living with those who have passed.
“Upon a person’s passing, numerous ancient cultures perceive them as journeying upwards, with their souls ascending and transitioning to an ethereal realm, liberated from the earthly plane.”, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The British Museum clarified: “Each person was composed of several constituents: essence (ka) and personality (ba), which united in the afterlife to create a flawless being known as an akh.
“The ba was typically depicted as an avian with a human head. The departed journeyed through the Duat both in their own form and in the form of the ba. The ultimate aim was to reach a unique location referred to as the Field of Reeds – the Egyptian paradise.”
Inbaal further explained: “The common saying ‘when robins show up, loved ones are close by’ has served to solidify the robin’s role in the legends associated with death and dying. It is a comforting symbol and a reminder of the soul’s immortality. The robin’s optimism, radiant red throughout the winter, symbolizes spiritual continuity. We, as living souls, do not cease to exist; we merely transform.”
Inbaal also offered guidance on what action you should take if a Robin manifests before you and you suspect it might be connected to a deceased loved one. He advised: “Upon seeing a robin, take a moment to speak some affirmative words, bestowing blessings upon those who have passed on.
“Consider the friends and relatives you’ve lost, and what message they may hold for you at this particular juncture in your life. You might be attempting to reach a decision concerning your career or your residence. The robin prompts you to remember them, inquiring what your loved one would have suggested?”.
Tony Putman, a gardener and aspiring wildlife photographer, has cultivated an unexpected friendship with a robin he lovingly calls “good friend Bob.”
Following a personal tragedy, Tony discovered solace in the traditional adage ‘when robins show up, loved ones are nearby’.
In a discussion with the BBC, Tony recounted his initial encounter with Bob while doing gardening work in his hometown of Edenbridge. He stated: “Bob resides here in Edenbridge – which was my hometown, and I visit here twice weekly to see him.”
He added: “He generally accompanies me around the garden – he even welcomes me at the gate on occasion. Typically, robins rear their young in the springtime; they vanish afterward – but for some unidentified reason this year, Rob returned following approximately a month.”
Tony is convinced that Bob’s reappearance was not simply chance. He clarified: “And he actually returned at a time that’s particularly traumatic in my life. Several individuals whom I genuinely cared for became gravely ill. And the expression is ‘When a robin appears, a loved one is close’. I’m uncertain how factual that is, but it’s rather odd that he arrived during a period when I believe I genuinely needed a bit of assistance”.
He further commented: “And someone who genuinely supported my photography – she passed away a couple of days ago – and Bob was continuously shadowing me the day prior, and it was remarkably comforting. She even had images of him hanging on her wall. And that was reasonably reassuring. Hopefully, she’s still present with me – in differing ways.”
