UFO hunters have shared official NASA photos of what they believe is a black cube orbiting the Sun.
The supposed appearance of an “alien cube” near the Sun has sparked a viral UFO frenzy. One Twitter user said: “With the reports of the giant cube near the sun: Has anyone checked on the cuboid tower on Saturn recently? I’m thinking it might have been a demon space ship.” Recently unearthed UFO reports show a similar “black cube” was previously photographed by the NASA and ESA Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) spacecraft.

The discovery led to claims of a possible UFO cover-up by NASA.
According to conspiracy theorist and UFO hunter Scott C Waring, the black cube makes frequent appearances near the Sun.
Mr Waring shared photos of the black cube to his blog UFO Sightings Daily back in 2016.
The UFO hunter said: “This cube was caught between the SOHO satellite and the Sun. The cube has been seen before off and on.

“Sometimes it’s seen in three dimensions, other times like this just two.”
Mr Waring went on to suggest the photos could be part of an active campaign to hide the existence of extraterrestrials from the public.
Mr Waring said: “There is also the possibility that NASA is using a black cube to cover-up alien spacecraft that get caught in the SOHO images.”
Then in 2018, Mr Waring shared NASA photos of what he dubbed an alien “borg cube” near the Sun.
The discovery was shared to YouTube where many viewers agreed it could be the real deal.
However, UFO experts are not convinced by Mr Waring’s latest claims.
According to hoax buster Scott Brando, who runs the Twitter page @ufoointerest, the UFO sighting is nothing more than “another hoax”.
Mr Brando commented on a similar UFO report in 2017, determining it was an “artefact anomaly”.

NASA’s original photos do not feature any black cubes, which appear to have been painted in over heavily pixelated sections of the image.
These anomalies can be explained through lens flares, errors with camera focus or pixelation caused by digital image processing.
Mr Brando told Express.co.uk: “Someone painted a simple image artefact.”
Most UFO sightings can also be explained through an effect known as pareidolia.
Pareidolia occurs when the brain sees recognisable shapes and patterns in inanimate objects.
For example, seeing a smiling face in a car bumper and headlights is caused by pareidolia.
NASA said: “Pareidolia is the psychological phenomenon where people see recognizable shapes in clouds, rock formations, or otherwise unrelated objects or data.
“There are many examples of this phenomenon on Earth and in space.”
