The Acer Swift Go 14 is a more stripped-down version of Acer’s flagship Swift AI device, though at first glance the two models don’t look all that different. They’re both built with an aluminum chassis and share similar physical features, like a webcam cutout and a keyboard that’s flush with the chassis. The device isn’t exactly stunning in appearance, but aesthetics — especially at this price point — don’t always reflect what a laptop can do.

With mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon hardware, we'll be able to gauge whether the Acer Swift Go 14 AI will perform well enough to be considered when you can pick up a MacBook for around the same price.

Acer has also put a lot of emphasis on the AI features of this device, even adding a special logo on the touchpad that lights up when the neural processor is in use. But is it really worth the effort the manufacturer has put in (literally) to highlight this aspect?
