SpaceX launched 28 Starlink satellites from Florida at dawn on Wednesday.

The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station at 7:56 a.m. Eastern Time.

No sonic booms, typical for such launches, were recorded.

The reusable first stage, used for the 14th time, successfully landed on the “A Shortfall of Gravitas” platform in the Atlantic Ocean eight minutes after liftoff, at 8:04 a.m.

The launch follows a mission on Tuesday evening, when SpaceX launched 24 more Starlink satellites into orbit from a California base as part of a test launch of an updated version of the Falcon 9.
