A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station early Wednesday morning, delivering 28 new Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit.
The Starlink 10-56 mission launched at 7:10 a.m. with an 80% chance of favorable weather conditions. The second flight was carried out using the Falcon 9 first stage booster, identification number 1095.
The launch vehicle's return stage landed in the ocean at 7:18 a.m. using SpaceX's Just Read the Instructions autonomous platform.
Unlike the previous launch, which was accompanied by acoustic waves in the Space Coast area, the current operation took place without such phenomena.
Thursday will be a day of public comment at the Kennedy Center, where FAA experts will consider the environmental impacts of operating the Starship-Super Heavy complex during future launches and landings.
