SpaceX launched more than two dozen Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit on Wednesday, continuing its efforts to expand global internet access.
The launch took place at 12:38 p.m. local time from Launch Complex 40 at Kenaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
The Falcon 9 rocket launched 28 Starlink satellites into orbit, marking the fourth launch for the booster's first stage.
A growing cluster of Starlink satellites delivers high-speed, low-latency internet around the world.
Wednesday's launch follows SpaceX's successful launch of 28 Starlink capsules from NASA's Kennedy Space Center on Tuesday. Also this week, it was revealed that United Airlines will begin offering Starlink-powered Wi-Fi on some of its flights starting Thursday, after announcing the deal in January.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk's SpaceX is reportedly close to launching Starship, the world's largest rocket, in a bid to eventually reach the moon and eventually Mars. But any launch would come after a failed attempt in March.
