SpaceX is set to launch a new batch of Starlink V2 Mini satellites into low Earth orbit on Tuesday evening.
The 28 satellites will be launched on a Falcon 9 rocket scheduled to lift off at 8:22 p.m. ET from Pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Brevard County, Florida.
This launch will be the 470th for the Falcon 9 rocket, and if all goes well, its cargo will join the more than 7,300 Starlink V2 Mini satellites already in low Earth orbit.
SpaceX plans to use the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket, tail number 1085, on its seventh flight to space and back.
The goal of this stage will be to land on the Just Read The Instructions, or JRTI, unmanned craft in the Atlantic Ocean. If successful, this will be the 442nd booster landing and the 119th landing on JRTI.
The mission will be streamed live on the official SpaceX website, the X TV app, and the X account. Reserve launch times are available until 12:22 a.m. ET or Wednesday starting at 7:30 a.m. ET.
