Earlier this week, SpaceX successfully launched nearly 20 satellites into low Earth orbit as part of the final Falcon 9 mission of the year.
The company's rocket lifted off from SLC-4E at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California at 12:27 p.m. ET.
The carrier carried 24 Starlink V2 Mini devices, designed to provide high-speed Internet coverage.
The used first stage of the launch vehicle made its ninth flight, having previously participated in four launches of the Starlink satellite constellation and other tasks in low Earth orbit.
After stage separation, the first stage performed a controlled return and landed on the Of Course I Still Love You autonomous floating platform in the Pacific Ocean. This event marked the 145th landing on a sea platform and the 489th successful landing of a booster in the company's history.
The second stage will be safely destroyed during deorbit over the Pacific Ocean east of New Zealand.
This launch was the 72nd for the Starlink satellite network in 2025, increasing the total number of devices launched into orbit by this project to 1,786 units.
