Two baggage handlers became the subject of a viral video after a prolonged battle with a difficult-to-fold baby stroller.

The incident took place at Kansas City International Airport, with onlookers observing the challenge from a jet bridge above the airfield.

Jason Falen, who was anticipating boarding a flight to Denver, began filming when he noticed the two staff members were completely perplexed by the infant accessory.

“I only captured the very conclusion,” Falen informed Storyful.

“They had been attempting to decipher it for five minutes, and it was hilariously entertaining!”

While the footage offered a moment of levity, travel specialist and former flight attendant Bobby Laurie shared with Fox News Digital that stroller protocol at the airport essentially hinges on “consideration and readiness.”

“Parents ought to be fully prepared to fold their own stroller before relinquishing it to gate agents or ground personnel, unless they genuinely require physical aid,” Laurie advised.

Within the video, the two men are depicted prodding and pulling at the stroller, which resisted their efforts to fold.

Passengers on the jet bridge could be heard chuckling and attempting to offer assistance from a distance.

“Well, there are two small buttons on the side. Is it possible he doesn’t notice them?” one observer remarked just moments before the workers discovered the solution.

Upon the stroller finally collapsing into its flattened state, the assembled crowd erupted in jubilant shouts and applause for the ground crew.

One of the baggage handlers even joined in the celebration, clapping for himself after finally triumphing over the stroller before placing it in the aircraft’s cargo hold.

“Staff are present to facilitate the process.”

Laurie cautioned that given the vast variety of strollers, there is no guarantee that the staff has encountered that specific model previously, ensuring they can fold it without causing damage.

“Staff are available to assist in managing the process, but they should not be expected to grapple with unfamiliar equipment during the boarding period,” he added.

To prevent similar scenarios, Laurie suggests that parents remove all personal belongings, familiarize themselves with their stroller’s folding mechanism before reaching the gate, and be prepared to execute it swiftly.

The predicament struck a chord with parents on Reddit, many of whom confessed to being defeated by their own baby equipment.

“There was an occasion I was in a parking garage with my infant and I absolutely could not close the stroller. I had to look up YouTube tutorials to figure it out,” one individual posted.

Others concurred that some contemporary designs are unnecessarily intricate, leading to moments of significant stress.

“I’ve shed tears over this exact situation previously,” another user commented.
