Chilling video originating from a southern Nevada residence’s security camera captured the instant a car breaks through a backyard barrier, becomes airborne and propels the motorist into a personal swimming pool.
The occurrence transpired late on December 15 in Laughlin, as reported by FOX 5 Las Vegas.
According to law enforcement and an accident record viewed by the news station, the motorist was reportedly driving at a high rate of speed just prior to failing to halt and colliding with and going through the concrete barrier.
The recording also captures the impact causing the white vehicle to twirl through the atmosphere in the darkness.
It impacts the top of the backyard pool house before touching down on the property adjacent to the swimming pool.

In the aftermath of the crash, the driver is observable struggling in the swimming pool subsequent to being ejected from her automobile.
Homeowner Cletis Reed communicated to FOX 5 that he detected a resounding crash that resembled “a freight train” and swiftly moved outdoors, only to discover his backyard demolished and a lady afloat in his swimming pool.
“I assumed something took place on the street, and I exited to witness my complete backyard destroyed,” Reed stated.
“Everything was simply wrecked. The patio is on the ground, the woman is floating in my swimming pool.”

Reed also expressed how he was only moments away from stepping into his hot tub, situated close to the wall that crumbled during the collision.
“I removed the cover and determined I needed to inform my wife about something,” Reed stated. “By the blessing of God, I’m alive. If I were present there, I would have been killed.”
The motorist splashed down in the shallow segment of the swimming pool, which Reed specified is merely around waist-deep and encompassed by cement and block barriers.
“She was fortunate, and I was fortunate,” Reed remarked.
Reed and others extracted the driver from the water. He mentioned she was alert yet confused and moaning.
Roughly 15 minutes afterward, Reed reported, she was standing and being questioned by law enforcement.

The vehicle was positioned in such a complicated manner that a tow truck was obligated to utilize a crane to hoist it from the backyard.
Reed conveyed to FOX 5 that he committed his retirement funds to developing his backyard sanctuary, inclusive of the resort-style swimming pool.
The accident obliterated the patio and tainted the 25,000-gallon pool with motor oil. Reed approximates restoration efforts could amount to approximately $300,000 and mentioned the pool may have to be completely emptied.
The driver was transported to a hospital in Arizona.
