The significant artwork was the creation of German artist Benjamin Klapper, who dedicated over a month to assembling the sculpture in an effort to secure a Guinness World Record.
Footage of the disintegration, displaying the construct collapsing in a similar way to a house of cards, promptly gained widespread traction across the internet.

“Overall, I dedicated roughly 120 hours to erecting the structure,” Klapper, 49, stated to Jam Press, detailing the meticulous undertaking behind the artwork, which he named Inside.
Klapper clarified that the composition was set up inside the Rhein-Center shopping center and was initially purposed to challenge the existing record for the hugest coaster creation ever constructed.
The video showcases the girl cautiously extracting a coaster from the tower prior to the entire construct falling down rapidly, inciting audible responses from the gathered crowd.

Nevertheless, the demolition was not as it first seemed.
Klapper informed Jam Press that the tower had partially caved in due to its own mass shortly before completion, hindering him from officially meeting the criteria for the record. Subsequently, he extended an invitation to guests to engage with the remaining composition.
“Each attendee took their turn withdrawing a beer mat from the construct until it succumbed,” Klapper mentioned. “The champion was the daughter of one of my assistants.”
“She caused ‘Inside’ to fall on her initial try by extracting one positioned horizontally,” he appended.
The artist conveyed that the widely circulated snippet ignited a diverse array of reactions online, with several viewers contesting the genuineness of the recording while others mourned the dismantling of the intricate creation.

“The footage of this dramatic drop garnered millions of views,” Klapper shared with Jam Press, highlighting feedback that varied from “That’s AI!” to “Such a pity it didn’t succeed.”
Notwithstanding the striking collapse, Klapper clarified that the structural failure implied the installation never formally qualified for the Guinness World Record.
The existing record is held by Sven Goebel, also hailing from Germany, who erected a 9-foot-6-inch tower crafted from 70,000 beer coasters in 2004.
Klapper, who is in charge of the media firm MuVi 3D GmbH, communicated that the undertaking still signified a personal accomplishment. He commenced constructing beer coaster structures as a youngster and has sustained the practice of creating large-scale installations for decades.
“Progressively, the constructions grew larger and larger,” he remarked. “I finalized my initial significant project 33 years ago.”
He added that showcasing the builds in public locations forms a fundamental element of the charm.
