The near two-decade tenancy (at no cost) of Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor at the Royal Lodge is coming to an end.
‘Official notification has been delivered today regarding the lease relinquishment. The relocation will occur at the earliest opportunity,’ declared Buckingham Palace this past Thursday.
The Duke is anticipated to relocate to a smaller dwelling within the vast grounds of the Sandringham estate.
As for Fergie, she’s been directed to manage independently, instructed to arrange her own housing.
While Sarah’s exact wealth remains undisclosed, it’s believed to be in the millions, thanks to her career crafting kids’ stories and endorsing slimming products.
Upon her divorce from Andrew in 1996, she received approximately £3,000,000. Furthermore, the late Queen Elizabeth bestowed upon her £500,000 to procure a home for herself along with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

She also received £350,000 in liquid assets, £1.4 million allocated to a trust fund for Beatrice and Eugenie, and a recurring monthly payment derived from Andrew’s tenure as a Navy officer.
Fergie may be rather well-off monetarily, but her future abode remains a mystery.
It had been suggested that Sarah desired to reside in Adelaide Cottage, located within Windsor’s confines, but those claims have been refuted.
Perhaps we’ll soon witness the former duchess residing in a humble apartment in London.
Sarah faced fierce critique just last month due to her alleged connections with Epstein, after an email surfaced in which she referred to him as a ‘supreme friend’.

The message from 2011 supposedly came not long after Sarah stated in an interview that her involvement with the sex offender represented a ‘huge error of judgment’.

Responding to the assertions in the Mail on Sunday and the Sun, a representative for Prince Andrew’s former spouse stated that the email was intended to counteract a threat made by Epstein to bring a libel suit against her for labeling him a ‘paedophile’.
Speaking about Andrew’s longstanding associate, she expressed in the interview: ‘I detest paedophilia as well as any sort of sexual abuse perpetrated against children.’
Amid this entire situation, Buckingham Palace unequivocally conveyed: ‘Their Majesties wish to affirm that their sentiments and deepest sympathies have been, and shall remain, with the victims and survivors impacted by any and all manifestations of abuse.’
