It’s believed that King Charles secured backing from Prince William and Princess Kate to definitively cut ties between the Royal Family and Andrew.
His Majesty’s younger sibling – who will henceforth be known solely as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor – had all of his remaining titles and honors revoked due to his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and the rape allegations from Virginia Giuffre.
Buckingham Palace announced last night that the disgraced royal has lost his status as a prince and will be evicted from his Royal Lodge residence.
His position in the line of succession is all that is left.
Reportedly, Charles had the support of the Prince and Princess of Wales in making the determination – and Andrew did not voice opposition to the procedure.
A source informed the Mail: ‘This has been progressing for a while, but it was necessary to ensure it was done correctly, given the significant challenges involved.’
They also mentioned that neither the UK government nor family members exerted any influence.
William and Kate have not released their own public statement regarding the situation.

Some insiders claim that Andrew’s connection with his nephew had deteriorated in recent months due to the demand for him to vacate the Royal Lodge.
Speaking on the Royal Exclusive program, royal expert Kinsey Schofield stated: ‘A future King William, the almost certain King William, desires to make the Windsor estate his primary residence.
‘He envisions it as a haven and a secure environment for his three young children.
‘My belief is that Fergie and Andrew create distractions and could possibly endanger the future of the Royal Family if they remain. I think it’s best if they are out of sight and out of mind.’
The announcement follows a week after Andrew relinquished his titles after His Majesty threatened formal removal unless he finally saw reason.

Charles conveyed clearly that he would not hesitate to take ‘further measures’ should his younger brother persist in holding onto his dukedom and other honors following revelations that he had been untruthful about severing ties with Epstein.
In response to the news, the family of Andrew’s alleged victim, Ms. Giuffre, expressed that she had ‘taken down a prince’.
She was among the most vocal accusers of convicted sex offenders Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, his previous partner.
She asserted that they trafficked her to Andrew when she was 17, an allegation he has firmly denied.

In a statement released to the BBC, Ms. Giuffre’s family stated that she had ‘persistently fought for accountability’.

It continued: ‘Today, an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family dethroned a British prince with her truth and exceptional bravery.
‘Virginia Roberts Giuffre, our sister, who was a child when she was sexually assaulted by Andrew, has persistently sought accountability for her experiences and those of countless other survivors.
‘Today, she is claiming victory. We, her family, along with her fellow survivors, are continuing Virginia’s fight and will not cease until similar accountability is applied to all her abusers and accomplices connected to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.’
