Scientists warn that weak magnetic storms are expected on Earth on Wednesday, October 29.
The cause of the upcoming events, as reported by a correspondent for the online publication Belnovosti, was a coronal hole on the Sun.
Experts from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory (IKI RAS) shared this warning on their Telegram channel.
“Space weather, October 29, 2025. Daily forecast: Geomagnetic conditions – disturbances and low-level magnetic storms are predicted due to the impact of plasma from the Sun's coronal hole on Earth,” the report states.
The outbreak activity is calm, they clarified here.
According to scientists, the Earth's magnetic field has already been slightly disturbed over the past 24 hours.
At the same time, experts described the outbreak activity over the past 24 hours as “calm.”
